The Connacht Taekwon-do Schools form the western division of the Irish United Taekwon-do Federation (I.U.T.F.) The I.U.T.F consists of over forty Taekwon-do clubs in Ireland and is the Irish representative for the International Taekwon-do Federation, headed by Grandaster Choi, Jung Hwa. Through Connacht Taekwon-do Schools, you can obtain access to training under top class international instructors, National/International Taekwon-do and Kickboxing tournaments, as well as grappling/self-defence workshops.

Connacht Taekwon-do Schools include Taekwon-do Academies from all over Connacht, from Galway to Athlone. The chief instructor, Mr. Fitzgibbon also gives regular self-defence courses to adult education and corporate groups. He is the only Irish full time martial arts instructor who is also fully qualified as a fitness instructor.

September 14, Squad training in Kanturk, 10-12pm followed by Prelims, 12.00-4.00pm.

September 21, Squad training in Kanturk, 10-12pm, IUTF Instructor Training Class, 12-2pm.

October 5, IUTF Leinster Championships, Dublin.

October; Master Galarraga Master Class and ITF Referee/Umpire Course.

November 1/2, International Irish Championships, Cork.

March 2009, Master Maidana Seminars.
